Polluted gas enters the scrubber through a Venturi throat where it comes in contact with water. The air at the throat, moving at a high velocity intercepts the water droplets, where the dust particles are captured and removed from the gas stream. The polluted water is then separated in a cyclonic separator and removed in a recycle tank. Continuous addition of small amounts of water limits the solid concentration in the recirculation water.
We use different Venturi throats, water injection methods and cyclonic separator designs to suit the specified application. Our high velocity, compact separator helps to optimise the cost and space requirements without compromising efficiency.
Packed bed scrubber is used for removing hazardous gases, fumes or mist pollutants from gas stream. For design of packed bed scrubber we have to consider many factors like pollutants, chemistry, heat of reaction, solid formation etc. and each application must be visualised carefully to ensure chemical compatibility of all components.
